On February 2nd, the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs' World Peace and Understanding Luncheon, featured a remarkable guest speaker, LeAnn Thieman. Our very own, Brenda Small- President-Elect, was one of the organizers. There wasn't a dry eye in the room and she was an awesome speaker who had everybody's attention every second until the end of the program.
"Who is LeAnn Thieman? LeAnn, a celebrated international keynote speaker, author, and nurse, experienced an incredible journey during the Vietnam Orphan Airlift in 1975. This harrowing experience, where she played a pivotal role in rescuing 300 babies as Saigon fell, is vividly recounted in her book, "This Must Be My Brother."
